Alex Yang holds a Master’s degree in Photonic Engineering from National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University and has over fifteen years of experience in the semiconductor equipment industry, spanning engineering R&D, marketing, and sales. He is the co inventor of 47 invention patents and 7 utility model patents, reflecting a strong foundation in technology and innovation.
He founded Cheray Co., Ltd. early in his career, focusing on semiconductor packaging sales. Inspired by a pivotal encounter with 3D floating image display technology, he co-founded Lixel Inc. in 2018 to develop glasses-free 3D floating image and mid-air interaction systems.
At Lixel, Alex leads a multidisciplinary team building integrated hardware and software platforms that enable intuitive interaction with complex spatial data. After validating strong market traction in medical education and clinical healthcare, he is now expanding these innovations into professional domains such as defense and aerospace, driven by a vision to free human spatial intelligence from 2D screens and enable humans and AI to understand and make decisions together in shared 3D space.

When abstract spatial imagination is made visible and shareable, decision makers can truly see, explore, and reason about complex 3D information. This clarity transforms abstract concepts into actionable understanding, enabling more confident, considered choices.
As AI increasingly operates in spatial domains, humans need tools that translate complex machine-driven spatial intelligence into perceptible, intuitive representations. Without this bridge, even the most sophisticated systems risk causing critical insights inaccessible.
By providing interfaces that make spatial information tangible, interactive, and collaborative, we empower people to engage
with complex environments naturally. When humans can perceive and manipulate spatial information with clarity and intuition, their decisions become faster, more informed, and more reliable.
