Taiwan’s AI companies are demonstrating how clinicians visualize, diagnose, and assess patient health:
Lixel Inc. has demonstrated medical visualization using its glasses-free 3D floating images and air-touch technology, which can convert anatomical structures—after software-based segmentation and reconstruction—into 3D floating images on hardware devices, enabling touch-free interaction. The system integrates proprietary displays with AI-powered DICOM processing to deliver realistic 3D anatomy, supporting education, patient communication, surgical planning, and telemedicine. Already collaborating with major hospitals and medical schools in Taiwan, the company is now seeking U.S. partners for clinical adoption and regulatory support. “Our goal is to make a real impact on education and practice,” added Alex Yang, Co-Founder and CEO.
